【翻訳】ポケモンソード・シールドの噂・予想スレ②

今回も海外ポケモンファンサイト「Serebii.net」のソード・シールドの検証フォーラムの翻訳の続きです。日本の匿名掲示板サイト５ちゃんねるのリーク情報も、日本で話題になる前にこちらですでに取り上げられていました。

ここでいっているFrendshipは進化のためのなつき度のことではなくて、ポケリフレやポケパルレの仲良し度のようなものだと思う。カレーを除いて、これはポフィンポロックで上がるやつだね。この画像にテントが映っているからこれはありえそう。そしてこのリークした人は仲良し度となつき度を混同しているんだと思う。

 Friendship here is probably NOT the friendship stat for happiness evolution, but friendship stat in Pokémon Amie and Pokémon Refresh, except for potentially curry, which seems to work like Pokéblocks and Poffins. 
here is even a tent in the background, so this part seems very likely.
And the leaker definitely confused affection for friendship, which I can understand.

これはただのプレイヤーが見つけた建物かもしれないし、もっと情報が入るまで待つしかないね。

That might also be a building the player can find. We'll have to wait and see if we get more information.

俺はこのシマリスのポケモンがガラル地方の序盤敵じゃないと思う。なぜならふつうそれらは道端で見つかるから。木から襲ってくることはないよ。

I don't think that the chipmunk is the regional early game mammal
because that would be found commonly on the roads. Not attacking you from trees. 

リークが正しいと仮定すると、木から出現することもあるし、ふつうに出現することもあるんじゃないかな。もちろん君の意見が正しいかもしれないけどね。

Assuming that leak is correct, it's possible that they both attack from trees and can be found regularly. Still, I see your point.

木から攻撃するシマリスについては、金銀で頭突きをした時に攻撃してくるエイパムみたいな感じかな。すくなくとも自分はそうだったと思うけど、ちょっとよく覚えてないんだ。ポケモンがくさむらや木から攻撃するっていうのは間違いかな、だれか知ってる？

Regarding the chipmunk attacking from the trees, didn't sentret and aipom used to attack from trees when you used headbutt on them in gold and silver? at least as far as I remember they did but I may be confused. if I am correct then it wouldn't be amiss for pokemon to attack from bushes or trees and such... who knows?

木から攻撃するシマリスが本当なら、それはアローラで木から攻撃してくるマケンカニの代わりだと思う。

The chipmunk attacking from trees (if real) is likely meant to replace Crabrawler attacking from berry piles in Alola. 

飛んでいる獣や素早い動きの獣、あるいはすでに発表されている獣は、リークの名前から考えるとフェニックス(ダークフェニックス)のことかも。フェニックスはEternal(永遠)の象徴だから。でもリークの名前がなくても、フェニックスやドラゴンなんかじゃないかと思っているよ。騎士と神話の生き物は深く関係があるからね。

I think the flying beast or fast moving beast or the beast announcing its presence might be a Phoenix (Dark Phoenix) based the leakers name for it. Phoenix are eternal. But even without the leakers name I till think its a Phoenix or Dragon of some sort because Knights and Mythical beasts go hand in hand. 

これは単なる憶測だけど、リークにあった「endorsement(許可証、裏書)」がスポンサーのようなものなら面白いと思う。（レオンのマントやジムのアリーナのスポンサーみたいに）特別なアイテムやスポンサーロゴの入った服、さらにはお金さえも手に入れられる仕組みでね。

This is just speculation, but it’d be pretty cool if the “endorsement” we get works like a sponsor (like the sponsors on Leon’s cape or on the sides of the Arenas). We could get special items or clothing that reps the sponsor, maybe even money.

あるいは、ジムリーダーと戦う前に、「名声」を獲得しないといけないのかもしれない。ポケモンバトルはとても人気で観客でいっぱいのスタジアムを使うわけだから、有名人やスター選手と戦うのだから。MMAの格闘技イベントでコナー・マクレガーにいきなり挑戦することはできないだろう。
ダンデの服にはナンバー１のマークがあったから、ガラル地方には公式のトレーナーランキングみたいなものがあるのかもしれない。そういうのも見てみたいな。

Or maybe there will be a "fame" measure you will have to build up prior to being allowed to fight the gym leaders.Since pokemon battles are so popular and we have full stadions it would make little to no sense to let anyone fight the celebrities/sport stars (such as Gym Leaders). It's like letting a random guy fight Conor McGregor on a MMA Night event. Heck, there might be even an official Trainer ranking as Leon Has a number 1 on his suit. I would love to see something like that! 

自分はリークのすべてが本物だと信じているよ。もちろん他のリークのように詳細部分はまちがいがあるだろうけど。まだ未判明の部分について自分なりに考えてみた。

「主人公のライバルはホップという名前で、他にもBadeとMarnieというトレーナーに出会います。」
これは、ホップは主人公が選んだ御三家より弱いポケモンを手に入れ、Badeは強い御三家を手にいれるのかな。おそらくマーニーは経験豊富なトレーナー。

「エール団はマーニーのファンで、トラブルを起こす悪の組織です」
たぶんマーニーは若いトレーナーで、過去にダンデに負けたからリベンジしようとしている？たぶんマーニーはチャンピオンになるためにEternatusを探していて、Eternatusは別の計画があった？エール団はマーニーをチャンピオンにしようとしているカルト集団だというのは間違いないね。マーニーがチャンピオンになった時になにかを約束しているのかもしれない。

 I am going to trust the leak and believe all of its is real (which will probably have some details wrong like other leaks) But I also want to talk about some that has not been revealed.Your rival is named Hop, but you will also be facing of against Bede and Marnie. So Hop gets the weaker starter and Bede gets the stronger starter? (Marnie probably is already an experienced Pokemon trainer). Also are Bede and Marnie boy or girls names? Team Yell is the gang in this game, who are well meaning fans of Marnie causing trouble. Maybe Marnie is a rising Pokemon star and is bitter having lost to Leon in the past and wants revenge? Perhaps Marnie seeks out Eternatus to finally become champion only for Eternatus to have different plans? Could definitely see Team Yell as a cult that wants Marnie to become champion because Marnie promises change when they become champion?

エール団は悪の組織なのか、ただのギャングなのかどっちだろう。それにイギリスの文化となにか関係があるのかな。６０年代、７０年代のモッズやロックをモチーフにしているとか。

So with the evil team,or gang(?) in the leak, being called Team Yell.. and relating back to British culture.. I wonder if they'll be based on the Mods and Rockers from the 60s/70s?

確定したリークが他にもあったみたい。ルリはおそらくNessaの日本語名で、自分はあまりよくわからないけど、日本語のポケモンの名前は英語の名前と結構ちがうみたい。メテオダイナとエターナタス、どちらが正しいんだろう。

There also seems to be yet another leak confirming what has been leaked so far:　Ruri might be the Japanese name of Nessa,
while I'm not exactly sure if the Japanese Pokémon name differ so much from it's English name;Meteodaina VS. Eternatus.

またはこれまで議論してきてリークは、この日本語リークの便乗だった可能性もある。

Or maybe it's possible that the leak we've been discussing so far has actually been piggybacking off this leak.

そうかもね。レイアウトから判断するとこれはアカウントを必要とする日本限定のウェブサイトで、すくなくともIDと「sage」という名前が表示されている。これは自分が投稿したコメントを参照するためのものだと思う。

 Doubt so. I believe that it's Japanese-restricted website that requires an account perhaps, judging based on the layout. At least, I see an ID and the name 'sage', which could work as future reference in case he posts.

伝説のポケモンかもね。おそらくこの名前はMeteorから来てるから、鋼タイプの最強技コンテストとなんらかの関係があると思う。

Could be. The name resembles Meteor, which makes me wonder if the strongest Steel type competition has any correlation to it.

Sageはユーザー名じゃなくてただのコマンドだよ。これは２チャンネルっていう、４chanのオリジナルにあたる掲示板。Sageコマンドは、投稿した時にスレッドをメインページに上げないためのもの。

Sage is not a user name, it is a command.
This is from 2ch, Japanese equivalent for/original inspiration of 4chan. Sage command stops the post from bumping the thread to main page too keep it out of sight.

リークのエラーとタイプミスをまとめてみた。
１、ザシアンとザマゼンタは本当は別々のポケモンだけど、リークでは同じポケモンの異なる形式だと主張している。
２、オパールが始めのフェアリータイプジムだと言っている。本当はカロスが最初。
リークした人がマーシュのことを忘れていた可能性もあるけど。
３、電気タイプのコーギーの名前がPumperになっているけど(これは実際にある英単語)、第１世代以外は英単語を直接名前にすることはない。
４、「ヒバニーは格闘タイプの技を覚えるが、格闘単タイプになる」これは炎タイプがなくなって純粋な格闘タイプになるという意味にとれる。だけどこれは「格闘タイプの技を覚えるが、炎単タイプのままだ」と言いたかったと思います。

 Here's all the errors and typos made by that one credible leak:

1. It claims that Zacian and Zamazenta are two forms of the same Pokemon rather than two different ones.
2. It claims that Opal is the first Fairy-type Gym in the series even though Kalos had one. (Although, it would be understandable if the leaker forgot Valerie)
3. The electric corgi Pokemon is outright called Pamper (which is an actual word in the English language) and outside of Gen 1, Pokemon haven't directly been given English words as names.
4. Due to word choice, this line "Scorbunny will have fighting moves, but is pure fighter" implies that it will outright drop the Fire type and become pure Fighting, which has never been the case for a starter, and very likely never will be. I believe that he meant to say that Scorbunny learns Fighting-type moves but it stays pure Fire, which makes a lot more sense

I am 90% certain Milo is not the first the first gym leader since his Pokemon are Level 19

Unless there is much pre-gym to do or they raised the difficulty level a bit

間違ってるかもしれないけど、マンチェスターをモデルにした街が最初のジムじゃないかな。

 I could be wrong but i think the first gym is in that Manchester looking area.

 
左側の山を電車で通り抜けるから最初はワイルドエリアには行かないと思う。
序盤ではレベルが低すぎからね。それにダイマックスバンドを手に入れる必要がある。
左側の山を出た先に駅があるけど、その先には草タイプジムがある。

You're more likely to get on a train that'll cross the mountain on the left-hand side of the map and skip Wild Area, as your level would be too low to capture by that time plus it'll probably require Dynamax Band as the mandatory item. You'll exit at the left mountain where you see a train station; eventually leading you to the Grass GYM Stadium. 

その可能性もあるけど、自分は最初のジムに19・20レベルで挑むとは思えない。それにこのマップを見ると電車はマンチェスター風の都市に続いている。加えてヤローが最初のジムリーターだったら、そのことを言わないだろう。

Possible but i still doubt that you face your first gym at Level 19-20. Plus based on the map it's likely the train leads to the Manchester Based City. Also if Milo was the first gym leader - wouldn't they have said that

XYでは、(最初のジムの)ヴィオラが最初に発表されて、つぎがザクロとシトロンで、コルニはメガシンカと一緒に発表されていたね。

For XY, Viola (who was the 1st Gym Leader) was the first Gym Leader announced, with Grant and Clemont announced a month later and Korrina announced at the same time Mega Evolution was confirmed.

あまり触れられていないけど「endorsement」ってどういう意味だろう？自分は英語はネイティブじゃないけど、これって「スポンサー」って意味かな。これは物語に大きくかかわると思う。例えばある大企業がガラル地方を汚染しているけど、ダンデなどの有名なトレーナーはスポンサーを受けていて、メディアを通じてガラル地方の人々は操作されているとかね。
ダンデは人々の気をそらすため詐欺師かもしれない。ダンデは元々才能はないけどお金の援助を受けて成功したとか。（彼の父親はその会社の社長？）でもゲーフリがそんなことを考えるわけないよね(笑)

どういうつながりがあるのかわからないけど、丘の上の巨人とダイマックスは関係があると思う。たぶん会社はダイマックスのエネルギーを利用しようとして、伝説のポケモンの秘密を明かそうとしている。そして彼らはワイルドエリアで研究を始めて、ダイマックス現象の原因を突き止めてエネルギーを抽出しようとする。そしてそれは生態系を破壊するんだ。

One thing I see people ignoring is the endorsement part. I'm not a native English speaker, but doesn't it mean sponsoring? I think that will play a major role in the story, where maybe one company is responsible for polluting Galar, but by sponsoring famous battlers like Leon they manipulate people around the region through media and so on to make them think they are well intended and get away with it. Leon could even be a fraud they put in motion to divert people, where he has no talent but got far through money support and such (maybe his father could be the company's owner?). However I struggle to see GF going that far xD

I don't know how it would connect to the legendaries though, but speaking of it, that Giant on the Hill thing makes me think it's related to the Dynamax
(and Gigantamax if it exists) feature, so that might play a huge role also.
Maybe the company tries to utilize the energy from Dynamax (akin to Infinite Energy) and messes with the legendaries to uncover the energy's secrets. And then they would start a research in the Wild Area to find out why the Dynamax phenomenon happens there and try to extract the energy, with would lead to damages in the ecosystem. 　

Serebii.netのジムリーダーのページに最初のジムはヤローだと書かれている（単に仮定かもしてないけど）これはリークと同じことだけど、今までの最高記録（ルビサファのノズパスのレベル15）を数レベル上回る。そしてマンチェスターのような街のシーンで新しいジムとダイマックスのシンボルのある建物が見えるね。
リークでは、「ジムに挑戦するためにはendorsementを手に入れなければいけない」と書かれているけど、これはダンデのマントの裏にあるすべてのスポンサーに当てはまる。これが本当なら、なぜ最初のジムがいつもより高いレベルなのか説明できるかもしれない。（ジムに挑戦するためにはなんらかのスポンサーを受けて、力を証明しなければいけないということ）

The "Gym Leaders" page here on serebii refers to Milo's Gym as the first (though that could just be an assumption), as does the Dynamax leak...but that would break the previous record of a first Gym Leader's ace (Roxanne's Lv. 15 Nosepass in RSE) by several levels, and we have seen a building with the new Gym/Dynamax symbol in shots of that Manchester-like city. The Dynamax leak also mentioned: "to become part of the gym challenge, you will have to get an endorsement," which fits with all the sponsors we see on the back of Leon's cape. If that part is true, it could explain why the first Gym is higher-leveled than usual (because we have to find/prove ourselves to some sponsor before taking on any Gyms).

 
最初のジムリーダーは初めに発表されるけど、それはいつもとは限らない。シトロンたちは草タイプのジムリーダーの前に出たし、アーカラ島の長はイリマの前に登場した。
なぜマンチェスターのリーダーが発表されていないのかも、なぜそれが始めに訪れるジムではないのはからないけどね。

They do typically reveal the first gym leader first, but it's not always the case. Clemont was revealed before Korrina or the grass guy, and the Akala captains were all revealed before Ilima. I don't see why they'd skip revealing the Manchester leader, but I also don't see why that wouldn't be the first gym we visit.

 
振り返ってみると、どの地域も最初に街に到着した時には挑戦できないジムがあった。
・サカキはただジムを留守にしていた
・ミカンはタンバシティに主人子を送った
・センリは他の４つのジムバッジを手に入れることを条件にした
・メリッサはちょうどそこにいなかった
・シトロンは停電によって閉鎖されていた

 Yeah, looking back, most regions had a Gym you couldn't challenge the first time you reached its city:

- Giovanni just wasn't there
- Jasmine sent you to Cianwood first
- Norman required you to have four other Badges
- Fantina just wasn't there (in DP anyway)
- Clemont was blocked off by a power outage
